Scott Wierson – Principle
Scott Wierson is an accomplished C level executive and advisor with more than 35 years helping startups and Fortune 500 Global/International telecom, wireless, cable and internet service operators improve operations and successfully develop and implement new technology. Mr. Wierson provided technical, project management and operational expertise to over forty joint venture initiatives worldwide. These start-up ventures provided a variety of services including fixed wireless, Cellular, data, Internet, cable TV, and fiber based services. He led the feasibility analysis to determine if a business proposition would work and then helped manage the start-up of most of these ventures. Scott’s role was integral to the success of network planning, test/trials, certification, and homologation of leading-edge technology in over 10 countries. As Vice President, Planning and Engineering for Evolution Networks, Scott led a team of network, systems, and RF engineers in the design of a nationwide US long haul network feeding metropolitan rings, utilizing both optical fiber and wireless technology. He also conducted a feasibility study for Crown Castle regarding cellular backhaul. As acting CTO for various wireless operations in the Caribbean, Scott was instrumental in turning stagnant cellular operators using outdated technology into a thriving operations utilizing leading edge technology and services.
